History

Back in the 1980s, Karl Steingruber, now Executive of SMART drinks Ltd. BVI, often travelled through Germany on business. There he came across a company SMART drinks and Food AG, which was developing some very popular drinks. With his uncanny instinct for successful product innovations, he came up with the idea of producing Energy Drinks. Then with a clear vision and a lot of scientific know-how he developed a new kind of drink. Even though Energy Drinks were created in Asia over 35 years ago, Energy Drinks were till then only known as Red Bull Energy Drink, who was and is SMART drinks biggest competitor.

After a while of development the company moved to the Principality of Liechtenstein and changed its name to SMART Drinks Ltd. BVI and started off also with the production of drinks. In a dynamic segments of soft drinks the founder hat the vision of various products, e.g. Energy Drinks, Love Drinks, Soft Drinks, Wellfit Drinks, Beer, Alcopops, etc. The originators vision was to create perfect products, which were equipped with various tastes and high-quality ingredients and modern design.

Launch

The launch of different Energy Drinks was accompanied by thorough scientivic testing and extensive medical research, since the spontaneous success of the new brands attracted much attention, curiosity and suspicion. However, numerous scientific studies have confirmed the positive affects of Energy Drinks and the safety of its ingredients.

Mostly all Energy Drinks made by SMART drinks Ltd. are now available in almost all of Europe, North and South America, most parts of Africa, New Zealand, Australia, most of the Arab countries and in some Asian countries.
